CENTRAL ILLINOIS -- Although this last winter storm didn't bring much snow to the area, it did cause other problems.

A spokesperson with Ameren Illinois said 16,700 customers lost power due to the storm.

1,700 of those were in Bloomington, although power was out for less than an hour.

Part of Washington was without power as well.

Unit 5 closed after two schools, its warehouse, and transportation buildings lost power.
