It is TAPS' longest running fundraiser, and today it featured demonstrations from working dogs.
Police dogs from Peoria and Tazewell Counties showed off their search and rescue skills, and a herding demonstration featured a border collie and some sheep and ducks.
The TAPS executive director says Tailwaggers has continued to grow each year, however adoptions have been down lately due to the economy.
The Tailwaggers Classic is a family friendly event held at the Mineral Springs Park in Pekin.
