Teen held on $1.5 million bond for Grinnell Steeet shooting

PEORIA, Ill. -- Prosecutors have charged a teenager in connection with Thursday night's shooting near Grinnell and Folkers.

Two young men were shot and prosecutors say Robert Sanders, ,15, was the initial shooter.

Sanders is charged with Attempted Murder and will be tried as an adult.

His bond is set at $1.5 million.

Sanders is accused of shooting a 14-year-old boy after asking him if he was was a member of the "Bomb Squad" street gang.

A companion of Sanders allegedly shot a second teenager because he was a witness to the initial shooting.
