ST. LOUIS -- A native Peoria, now living in St. Louis, has been arrested for making "terrorist threats" about the Boston Red Sox.

30-year-old Robert Metzinger, a Peoria Notre Dame Graduate, was arrested last Friday and is currently out on bond.

Metzinger used in own name in tweets making references to "pressure cookers", like the one used in the Boston marathon bombing and saying the "World Series will be another finish line not crossed by Boston".

The St. Louis Police Chief said fans and visitors to Busch Stadium were never in danger, because Metzinger was taken into custody as soon as authorities were made aware of the tweets.
