Chicagoland Motorcycle Parade "Toys for Tots" took over Driven Church in Pekin to bring a little Christmas cheer to tornado victims.

More than 2,000 presents were given out to hundreds of kids.

Organizers say the goal is to make sure all of the kids affected by the tornado had a toy for Christmas.

The families were given a bag of wrapped presents and they can decide when to open them.

"All were peripheral affected by the tornadoes that happened. We've got kids from East Peoria, Pekin Washington. And as you can hear in the background we also have 5 super heroes here that came in to bless these kids as well,” said Travor Hammond, a Pastoral Student at Driven Church.
Organizers say the event gave everyone a chance to forget about the tornadoes and celebrate Christmas as a family.
