TOULON, Ill -- A Toulon woman charged with abandoning her 3-week-old daughter on the side of a road is tentatively found fit to stand trial.
A paragraph summary by Peoria psychologist Dr. John Day states 19-year-old Kendra Meaker is competent to stand trial.
Because a full report is not complete, Circuit Judge Stuart Borden granted a request by Meaker's public defender for a two-week delay to analyze the full report before a plea is given.
A possible preliminary hearing is set for November 30.
