PEORIA, Ill. – The University of Illinois College of Medicine at Peoria will hold an event early next month for anyone who has ever considered participating in a clinical trial or who is simply curious about medical research in Peoria.
Living Healthy 2014: “Medical Research in Peoria: What Patients Want to Know” is a one hour session that will break down the types of research happening in Peoria and how individuals can search for clinical research taking place.
The event is free and open to the public. Participants can also get free screenings for blood pressure, blood sugar and BMI.
It is happening Thursday, March 6 from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at the University of Illinois College of Medicine at Peoria (1 Illini Drive Peoria, IL).
