WASHINGTON, IL-- Saturday, family, friends, and long-time customers gathered together at Uftring Chevrolet in Washington to celebrate the grand re-opening, and the 30th anniversary of the dealership.

Gary Uftring says focusing on doing 'old-fashioned' business is what has kept his company alive, during the good times and the bad.

"This is where I grew up, I was born here," Uftring said. "It's just been a phenomenal place to raise a family and to do business. I'm so thankful for all the customer support we've seen through the years."

Saturday's celebration featured a 1982 Corvette-- the owner's favorite car, from the same year Uftring Chevrolet opened its doors in the Heart of Illinois.
