PEORIA, Ill. -- Snow and ice buildup caused havoc for a local nursing home.

One resident with a loved one at Lutheran Hillside Village said some nursing home residents were temporarily relocated to another area Tuesday night due to a problem with a roof.

She said the residents were taken to a physical therapy room while crews dealt with a water leakage problem.

We were told that the patients were moved back in Wednesday morning.

Attempts to talk with the nursing home director were not successful.
