NEW HOLLAND, Ill -- At the beginning of the year we brought you the story of a New Holland woman looking to the shed pounds in order to live a healthier life.

About 6 months after having gastric sleeve surgery Dara Entwistle is 90 pounds lighter. She has gone from size 24 pants to size 8-9.

Now, thanks to the surgery and exercise Dara is looking to accomplish her next major goal--running in this Saturdays St. Jude Lincoln to Peoria run.

"My nephew has been fighting cancer, he is a St. Jude kid, he'll be 3 next month. And I want to give something back to the people of St. Jude, they have been wonderful to my family. And I'm going to run in his honor," said Entwistle.

Dara has raised more than $1,400 for St. Jude. She said she looks forward to shedding more pounds and running for St. Jude for years to come.
