Tough economic times have many people taking advantage of a career fair at Northwoods Mall in Peoria.
Fifty one booths surrounded the center court area of the mall today. Many businesses were taking applications and resumes from folks who were looking for jobs.
One woman retired in September and says she's looking for work again.
Mary Carla Grube said, "A little of boredom and economic times. I think we're all facing some difficult times, and I don't think a second income is going to hurt our household."
Area businesses participating in the career fair include Uftring Auto shop, New Horizons, City of Peoria Police and Midstate College.
