Komatsu has signed a major deal to sell made-in-Peoria mining trucks to China.

More than $200 million worth of mining trucks and support equipment will be shipped from the Peoria Manufacturing plant to the China National Coal Development Corp.

That sale includes the 2700 horsepower one-million pound Komatsu 930E mining trucks made locally.

The Chinese firm, according to Komatsu, already has purchased over
150 Komatsu mining trucks for use at two different mine sites.
