A grant from Caterpillar is giving nearly 1,500 low-income students the chance to take a trip to Springfield.
In the coming weeks, students from area schools will visit the Abraham Lincoln Presidential Museum as a part of funding from Caterpillar.
Schools participating include Lindbergh, Manual, Mark Bills, Quest Academy, Rolling Acres, Roosevelt, Sterling, Trewyn, and Von Steuben.
