For the eleventh consecutive year, Caterpillar has been named to the Dow Jones Sustainability Indexes (DJSI) and recognized as a leader in the Industrial Engineering sector.

Caterpillar Chairman and CEO Doug Oberhelman says inclusion on the list is an honor and shows that the company is not only committed to sustainability challenges, but also to helping customers become more efficient .
"As I talk with stockholders, I consistently hear how important it is that we invest for the future and provide superior products, services and solutions that meet our customers' needs," said Oberhelman.  "And that's what we are doing when we deliver sustainable solutions to our customers."

In order to be named to the DJSI, Caterpillar must undergo a thorough analysis of corporate governance, risk management, product stewardship, climate and energy strategy, supply chain standards and labor practices.
