Caterpillar announces Chief Information Officer departure

PEORIA, Ill. – Randy Krotowski, Caterpillar’s chief information officer (CIO), announced he is leaving the company in June.

"Randy has more than 25 years of experience in the information technology field, and we wish him well as he pursues future endeavors," said Brad Halverson, Caterpillar group president with responsibility for the Corporate Services Division.

Krotowski is also vice president of Caterpillar’s Global Information Services.

Caterpillar is starting a global search for a replacement.
