Brady will remain Peoria County State's Attorney

PEORIA CO., Ill. -- Jerry Brady will be retain the seat of the Peoria County State's Attorney, beating out his opponent Frank Ierulli by 60 percent.

Jerry Brady touted Peoria's "Don't Shoot" initiative during his campaign, stating the program will lower the crime rate over time.

Jerry Brady was appointed by his predecessor, Kevin Lyons.
