The glass ceiling is a thing of the past. The last real "glass ceiling" is the presidency, and that could be shattered this year.

Women are going after what they want, whether it's the corner office, the career and the family or their own corporation.

NBC's new drama/comedy "Lipstick Jungle" which starts tonight at 9:00 p.m. is art imitating life.

It is a jungle out there, but Jane's in charge, and that includes here in Central Illinois.

Stephanie Calahan, the President & CEO of Calahan Solutions, said, "We're really putting a focus into whatever it is we do well and we're being successful at it, and different women are going to put their focus in different areas."

Simantel's Carmen McCarthy added, "Any dream worthwhile is going to take a lot of time perseverance, a lot of rejection, doors slammed in the face all that. But, gender is just a little stepping-stone along that path."

Tonight on Nightside, News 25's Jenny Li profiles local women who are oozing success and getting what they want.
