18th annual Bears-Packers Kettle Challenge

PEORIA, Il. -- The Peoria chapter of the Salvation Army is hoping to cash in this year on NFL's oldest rivalry.

The 18th annual Bears-Packers Kettle Challenge is Saturday, December 1st.

Salvation Army bell ringers will be stationed at the HyVee at Sheridan Village and Bass Pro Shops in East Peoria beginning at 9am.

Fans are asked to contribute to the kettle painted with their favorite team's colors.

The Green Bay Packers have held the kettle challenge title for the past four years.
