Firefighters responded to the blaze in the 800 block of Shelley shortly before three o'clock this morning.
They found heavy fire to the roof area when they arrived.
Authorities say the occupants of the house got out safely.
One firefighter did sustain minor burns while fighting the fire.
The cause is still under investigation.
Damage is estimated at 75 thousand dollars.
