Thanks to a little hard work and determination, one local teenager took the ride of a lifetime today at Peoria International Airport.

Greg Poe is an airshow pilot who travels the country giving motivational speeches to kids of all ages, hoping to inspire them to follow their dreams.

Each community he travels to typically rewards a deserving teen the chance to ride in his airplane.

Poe said "The most rewarding thing I've ever done is elevate your life, standing in front of a group of young people and sharing a lot of personal experiences with them and see the look on their face when they realize that some of that relates to them and they'll come up afterwards and share some of their thoughts and ideas and you'll know that your getting through to them."

Levi Fraizee was chosen to ride with the pilot Wednesday morning and said "It was... like being on top of the world."

Levi was chosen as a representative from the Elite Youth Program, which strives to teach its kids respect and how to be an elite member of society.
