BLOOMINGTON, Ill.-- Firefighters and police officers are swapping out their guns and hoses for hockey sticks.

Saturday night, the Bloomington departments will face off in the Guns N Hoses Hockey game at U.S. Cellular Colliseum.

The game starts at 3:00 p.m. followed by the Bloomington Blaze game.

Tickets are $14.00 and will get you into both games.

Though the game is for a good cause and when officers get onto the ice, they play to win.

Bloomington Public Affairs Officer Dave White said, "There's been some tussles on the ice, there's been some times where at first we would fake it and make it look like we were going to have a fight, but then there has been some heated moments that had to be broken up. Afterwards everyone's shaking hands it's a good time."

Off the ice, the police officers and firefighters are all on the same team.

Proceeds from the event will go to Special Olympics Illinois.
