TRIVOLI, Ill.--A fire in Trivoli has left one family without a home.

Logan-Trivoli Fire Chief David Tuttle described the scene, "The flames started in the garage and quickly spread to the rest of the house."

The house is located at the corner of Locust St. and S. Trivoli Rd.

After two hours, firefighters were still working to put out the blaze.

Chief Tuttle said that once the fire is extinguished completely, crews will go through and salvage anything they can.

"We got a report of a garage fire around 12:13 this afternoon," said Chief Tuttle. "Reported that the garage was attached to the house. When we arrived on the scene, the garage was fully involved extending into the house and attic area."

None of the residents, including a pregnant mother, were injured. However, one firefighter did sustain minor injuries.

The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
