CHICAGO -- NBC Chicago is reporting yet another passenger has filed a lawsuit against Megabus in the accident that left 1 dead and 47 others injured.
Law firm Corboy & Demetrio filed the lawsuit Friday on behalf of Jason Whitaker, 20, one of the passengers in the August 2 crash.
Whitaker suffered a concussion and injuries to his neck, back and wrist, according to a news release issued by the law firm.
NBC Chicago says the law firm is also representing Donna Halstead, a 76-year-old woman who was killed when she was struck by a Megabus in Chicago last week.
Governor Pat Quinn last week called for a federal investigation into the company after the incident near Litchfield and a second fatal crash days later in Chicago.
