Armed robbery at Kroger, unknown amount of money stolen

NORMAL Ill -- Police responded to a call shortly after 3:30 Saturday morning at Kroger on College Avenue.

Authorities say a white male entered the store and flashed a hand gun to an employee.

Police say the suspect took an undetermined amount of money from the register, before fleeing on foot.

No injuries were reported.

The suspect is about six feet tall and was wearing a dark green outfit with a scarf covering his face.
