Arrests made in cold murder case

PEORIA, Ill. -- Three men have been arrested for murder in connection to a more than eight-year-old cold case investigation.

Thirty-four-year old Allen Fitzpatrick and Anthony King, along with 31-year-old Michael Johnson were taken into custody Tuesday at Peoria County Jail.

Police say all three men played a role in the March 2006 murder of Robin Underwood.

Underwood and another woman were shot in the 1300 Block of North Ellis street in Peoria. The Peoria Police Department Violent Crime Unit and the FBI Violent Crime Task Force have been investigating the case ever since.

The investigation is still ongoing.
