PEORIA HEIGHTS Ill -- People from all over Illinois showed off their creative side in Peoria Heights Saturday afternoon.

Around 35 artists took part in the village's 9th Annual Tower Park Fine Arts Fair.

It was $75 to enter, which went to the 1st through 3rd winners.

Dozens of vendors showed off their best work, which ranged from paintings and ceramics, to duck decoys.

"I think it has come pretty far, said art fair coordinator," Cheryl Dean. "I've been doing it, like I said, for 11 years. It's a great event, and we have a lot of artists that come and a lot of people that come to support the local artists."

Meanwhile, the Illinois Art League held its own art showing for members, with professional and amateur art displayed in Peoria Heights Village Hall.
