Attic fire causes $15,000 in damage

PEORIA, Ill. -- Firefighters responded to a fire at 2400 Cabana Ct. on Monday afternoon.

Firefighters responded at approximately 1:20 pm. The fire was contained to the attic area of the home. The flames were controlled by 1:30 pm.

The fire caused approximately $15,000 in damage. No one was injured in the blaze.

The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
