SPRINGFIELD, Ill. -- Attorney General Lisa Madigan announced Thursday the 37th arrest in the child pornography crackdown "Operation Glass House".
David Wayne Murphy, 52, of Winthrop Harbor was arrested Wednesday after a search of his residence yielded evidence of alleged child pornography.
Murphy has been charged with three counts of Possession of Child Pornography, a Class 2 Felony. He is being held in the Lake County Jail on a $100,000 bond.
Madigan's office made the arrest with assistance from the Winthrop Harbor Police Department and the Lake County State's Attorney's office.
Operation Glass House was launched in August 2010 to investigate child pornographers throughout Illinois. Investigators use a computer's IP address to track the activities of potential pornographers.
