Authorities investigating death of 3-year-old

NORMAL, Ill. -- Authorities are investigating the death of a three-year-old child from Normal who sustained multiple blunt force injuries.

Tuesday, authorities received a call of a child seizing at a residence on the 200 block of Cambridge in Normal at 4:30 a.m.

The child was transported to Advocate BroMenn Medical Center’s Emergency Department in Normal where he was pronounced deceased at 5:30 a.m.

The child has been identified as Robert ‘Robby’ W. Cramer, 3, who was last living at the Cambridge address in Normal.

A Tuesday autopsy showed that the victim suffered multiple blunt force injuries. The Coroner's Office says that the injuries came as the result of another individual's actions.

The coroner's report did not specify whether the injuries sustained were the cause of death.

The death is still under investigation.
