Autopsy shows Peoria man crushed by car

PEORIA, Ill. -- Autopsy results were released on Saturday concerning a man that was found dead in the lot of All-Star Towing late Friday morning.

Peoria County Coroner Johnna Ingersoll says that Waylon "Willie" Grant died due to compressional asphyxia. This after authorities say he was attempting to jack up a car, when the jack slipped, causing the car to fall on him.

The weight of the vehicle making it impossible for him to breathe. Grant had been reported missing by his wife Thursday.
