PEORIA, Ill. -- All across Central Illinois you can find Nativity scenes, but it's not very often you see one without baby Jesus.

At OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria nativity scenes are displayed at the beginning of Advent.

As part of a nearly 80 year tradition, the hospital waits until Christmas Eve to place baby Jesus in the manger.

At the beginning of the Christmas Eve vigil Tuesday night, a priest placed Jesus in the nativity scene, making it complete.

Baby Jesus was also placed in a second nativity scene in the lobby of OSF Tuesday night.
