PEORIA, Ill. -- A woman's bedroom was ransacked in a residential burglary Monday.
While the victim was at work, an unknown suspect broke into her house in the 1700 block of S. Arago through a kitchen window.
She came home to find the kitchen window broken and a garbage can sitting beneath it, according to reports.
When she entered the house, she found several items missing, including an Xbox video game system, a camcorder, headphones and clothing.
The victim found that her bedroom had been ransacked, with drawers and dresser doors opened and items missing.
