MCLEAN CO., Ill. -- The latest Red Kettle campaign numbers are in from McLean County, and so far, less than 45 percent of the total goal has been met.
With your help, Salvation Army directors hope to reach this year's goal of $430,000 from red kettle donations and mail collections.
The Salvation Army is also looking for more help volunteering.
Bell Ringer Paul Logan has been volunteering since 1996.
Logan says he puts in 80 hours a week ringing at the Bloomington Walmart and has helped raise about $60,000 so far.
"Well, it's a way of helping other people," said Logan. "There's a lot of need out there, and Salvation Army does a real good job. I've never heard any complaints from anybody of how they fund their organization and how they spend their money."
