Black Friday scuffle ends in four arrests

BLOOMINGTON, Ill -- Four Bloomington teenagers have been charged in connection to a fight at Eastland Mall Friday.

Authorities have identified the teens as Deoante Jordan, Tyshaun Jones, Shaquan Hosea, all 17, and 18-year-old Keyson Heard.

All four teens are charged with two aggravated battery and two counts of mob action.

Public Affairs Officer David White says the fight was not gang related and calls the incident an isolated event.

"You have your fights,” said White. “You have your little troubles every now and then. Anyone who is wanting to visit the mall and shop for the holiday season, I don't think they have anything to fear. I think it was just an isolated incident. We don't need to worry about it any further."

The four teens remain in McLean County Jail in lieu of posting $5,000 bond.
