CENTRAL ILLINOIS -- If you couldn't stay up Monday night, you missed a pretty cool sight in the skies above central Illinois.

Attached is video of the blood moon taken early Tuesday morning outside our studios in East Peoria.

The rare celestial event takes place when the earth's shadow obscures the moon.

If you missed it, don't worry. There will be another lunar eclipse in October.
