Bloomington city aldermen met with cultural district commissioners Monday night to discuss the future of the Bloomington Performing Arts Center.
The BCPA opened six years ago.
Since then the center has had an annual budget gap of roughly half of a million dollars.
The council approved to fund an additional $450,000 for fiscal year 2013.
City officials and BCPA commissioners will continue to meet and try to reach a solution.
