BLOOMINGTON, Ill.-- Bloomington's Police Chief is leaving Central Illinois for a job in Missouri.
Randy McKinley, 53, accepted a Police Chief position in Saint Charles, Missouri.
McKinley joined the Bloomington Police Department as patrol officer in May 1984 and was named detective in 1988.
He has worked as a crime scene technician, sergeant, lieutenant, and as assistant chief.
McKinley was named chief in March 2009.
