Bloomington Police investigate dog bite incidents

BLOOMINGTON, Ill. – Bloomington Police are investigating two dog bite incidents.

The incidents occurred early Monday morning in the 2000 block of General Electric Road and at the intersection of Eagle Creek Drive and Moss Creek Road.

Two people suffered dog bite injuries. One person was transported to an area hospital.

Police have identified the owner of both dogs, a Pit Bull and a Beagle Mix. An investigation is ongoing and the dogs are being held at McLean County Animal Control until the investigation is complete.
