BLOOMINGTON, Ill. -- Looking for a job? Perhaps a career with the U.S. Postal Service is for you.

The Bloomington USPS will be holding a job fair for those living in Bloomington, Clinton, Lexington, Danvers, Delavan, Flanagan, Shirley, Ellsworth, and Lawndale.

USPS officials say there are numerous postal non-career positions available throughout the local area, including City Carrier, Rural Carrier Associciate, Clerk, and Postmaster Relief.

Bloomington Postmaster Mark Ford says the opportunity will give attendees a chance to learn about different job duties, work hours, and prerequisites.

"This is an informational session to learn about job opportunities with the Postal Service and get assistance with the application process," explained Ford.

The job fair will be held on Friday, November 16 at the Bloomington Post Office Eagle Station Conference Center, 1211 Towanda Ave, Bloomington. Session times are at 9 a.m., 11 a.m., 1 p.m., and 3 p.m.
