Bloomington girl pronounced dead after dog bite

BLOOMINGTON, Ill. -- The McLean County Coroner reports that a four-year old girl was found unresponsive, Friday evening, with multiple dog bites at a home in the 2-thousand block of Parker Avenue in Bloomington.

The girl was pronounced dead shortly later at a local hospital.

An adult was home at the time of the incident.

The family's three pit bulls are now in Animal Control possession.

An autopsy is scheduled for tomorrow.
