EUREKA, Ill. -- A Bloomington man plead not guilty in Woodford County Court Friday to seven counts including first-degree murder, human dismemberment, and concealment of a homicide.
Rayshawn Johnson, 23, is accused of shooting Oakley Mitchell,74, at Mitchell's rural Secor home in early August.
Mitchell's remains were found scattered in his home and the Mackinaw River in McLean County.
A second suspect Vishawn Mills, 24, is being held in the McLean County Jail on a charge of concealing a homicidal death.
On Friday, Mills request a change in judges. She is due back in court on September 26.
If convicted, Johnson faces 45 years to natural life in prison.
Johnson is next expected to appear in court on October 9.
