PEORIA, Il. -- Thursday night, the County Board - with a 16 to 2 vote - approved a 3-percent increase to Curtis Luther's annual salary of $145,000.
An executive committee recommended the raise two weeks ago, setting the increase in the middle of the range set out in her contract. Which outlined a raise be no less than2%, but no more than 4%.
The raise is retroactive to last September.
