EAST PEORIA, Ill. -- A boil advisory put into effect on Thursday for portions of East Peoria has been lifted.

The East Peoria Public Works Water Department says residents in the area of Woodrow and the 300 and 400 block of Arnold Avenue can now safely consume water without boiling.

However, Notre Dame Avenue is still under a boil advisory.
