PEORIA Ill -- Three men are in custody following their arrests for break-ins involving multiple stolen electronic devices.

Thousands of dollars in stolen items were recovered Wednesday morning, and authorities say the burglary is linked to several others in Peoria County.

"There was like wood on the ground, said West Peoria resident," Brian Wikoff. "They ended up taking a couple lap tops. They took a net book, a PS3, and just a bunch of random stuff."

Wikoff's story is similar to multiple residents throughout West Peoria over the past month.

His home was broken into while he was sleeping, with multiple electronic devices stolen.

"They were going up parking in the driveway just like they were visiting," said West Peoria Mayor, James Dillon. "However, we have a very active neighborhood-watch in West Peoria. We sent out an alert to everyone that was on the email list to pay attention."

Now, that extra look-out has put three Peoria men behind bars.

"A neighbor called and had seen three black males who were by a house and seemed suspicious in their activity," said Peoria Police Captain, Mike Scally. "Officers responding to the scene saw the car, made a car stop at Newman Parkway and Sterling, and the three suspects were taken into custody along with the property that had been taken from the house."

Sherman Williams, Eric Nunn, and Jaylin Jones were all arrested by Peoria Police Wednesday, following a burglary at 2018 West Cashman Court in West Peoria.

The men were driving away from the scene carrying a 60 inch 3D flat screen, along with several other items.

Authorities say the three men were involved in at least four other reported burglaries in West Peoria and are part of the "Bomb Squad gang".

They are currently being held at the Peoria County Jail, with no bond set.
