Boy dies following sand tunnel collapse

A tragic story out of New Jersey.

According to the Asbury Park (N.J.) Press, a 12-year-old New Jersey boy who was hospitalized Tuesday after the sand tunnel he had been digging collapsed on him died on Wednesday.

The boy had dug a tunnel that was approximately two to three feet deep, according to the Asbury Park Press report.
