PEORIA, Ill. -- The campus of Bradley University looked more like a barber shop Friday.
Pi Kappa Alpha fraternity held their annual St. Baldrick's Day celebration.
The event features more than 100 volunteers who are willing to shave their heads bald to raise money for childhood cancer research.
"The reason why we do this, is an act of solidarity for cancer patients, especially children who have to shave their heads for chemotherapy treatments," said event organizer Stephen Bannon.
Last year's St. Baldrick's event raised more than $33,000, organizers say they hope to exceed that number.
