EAST PEORIA, Ill. -- Two separate accidents on the Murray Baker Bridge created headaches for motorists Saturday evening.
A motorcycle accident closed the Eastbound lanes of the Bridge just after 8:00 p.m.
At about the same time, another accident on the westbound lanes closed one lane of traffic.
Officers from East Peoria, Peoria and the State Police worked to clear the Eastbound side of the bridge, so the motorcycle accident could be reconstructed.
The driver of the motorcycle, a 48-year-old male, was transported to a local hospital.
His condition is unknown and no other details are being released at this time.
The Murray Baker Bridge reopened just before 10:00 p.m. Saturday.
