Bright Side: Concert raises $33,000 for tornado victims

BLOOMINGTON, Ill. -- The tally is in from Wednesday night's Chicago concert in Bloomington.

Generous supporters raised more than $33,000 for the tornado relief fund.

Approximately $25,000 came from concert sponsor COUNTRY Financial.

Governor Quinn proclaimed January 29 as "The Band Chicago Day" for the musicians' tornado relief efforts.
