DUNLAP, Ill. -- A group of students at Dunlap High School were honored Friday for their efforts to give back to the community.

They are part of the school's new service club "Interact Club".

The students and their adviser have been working since last spring to form the group after the growing student population left a gap in service and leadership opportunities.

Members of the Rotary Club of Peoria-North presented the club with their charter and credentials at a ceremony on Friday.
