EAST PEORIA, Ill. -- How hot is it? You may have seen Mac and Ashley's attempt on Friday, unsuccessfully, to fry an egg on the black top of our parking lot.
Well, we are following in their footsteps Saturday night in a less healthy, more mechanical way.
We wanted to see if it was hot enough to bake cookies simply by placing them on the dashboard of one of our news cars.
Roughly two hours later, we had our answer. While the egg was a flop, our cookies came out fully cooked. Well, almost. Check out the video to see how they look.
